Olympus Battery Tips & Info:

Olympus Battery Do's:

Fully charge/discharge Olympus battery up to 4 cycles before achieving full capacity of a new Olympus battery
Fully discharge and then fully charge the Olympus battery every two to three weeks for battery conditions.
Run the device under the Olympus battery's power until it shuts down or until you get a low battery warning. Then recharge the Olympus battery as instructed in the user's manual.
Remove from the device and stored in a cool, dry, clean place if the Olympus battery will not be in use for a month or longer.
Recharge the Olympus battery after a storage period.
Ensure maximum performance of the Olympus battery by optimizing the device's power management features. Refer to the manual for further instructions.

Olympus Battery Don'ts:

Do not short-circuit. A short-circuit may cause severe damage to the Olympus battery.
Do not drop, hit or otherwise abuse the Olympus battery as this may result in the exposure of the cell contents, which are corrosive.
Do not expose the Olympus battery to moisture or rain.
Keep Olympus battery away from fire or other sources of extreme heat. Do not incinerate. Exposure of battery to extreme heat may result in an explosion.

Some Information For Battery Charger

Instructions:

Plug the AC power adapter in a wall outlet.
Connect the AC power adapter supplied with your charger to the DC in jack.
"STATUS" indicator shows RED when the charger is ready and “charger” indicator shows flashing GREEN when waiting for battery pack.
Slide battery pack in the Charger and “CHARGER” indicator goes RED when charging.
“CHARGE” indicator shows RED and GREEN alternatively when battery pack has more than 90% charged.
When the battery pack is fully charged, the “CHARGE” indicator shows a steady green.
After the battery pack fully charged, slide the battery pack out.
Unplug DC power, “CHARGE” and “STATUS”indicators go out.

Note:

While charging the battery pack, “STATUS”indicator and “CHARGE” indicator are absent if the AC power adapter is not connected properly.

Maintenance:

Charge at room temperature.
Store in cool and dry place.
Clean up the terminals with a soft cloth if soiled.
Unplug AC power adapter when not in use.
